Anthrax

Le groupe rap métal Anthrax se forme en 1981 à New York aux Etats-Unis. Après la sortie du premier album Fistful of metal, le chanteur Joey Belladonna et le bassiste Frank Bello rejoignent les guitaristes Scott Ian et Dan Spitz. Suivent les albums Armed and Dangerous (1985), Spreading the Disease (1985), Among the Living (1987), I’m the Man (1987), State of Euphoria (1988), Persistence of Time (1990) et Attack of the Killer b’s (1991). En 1992, Joey Belladonna quitte Anthrax. Il est remplacé par John Bush. Depuis le départ de Joey Belladonna, la formation perd ses fans. Les albums Sound of White Noise (1993) et Stomp 442 (1995) font peu parler d’eux. Réduit à quatre éléments (Scott Ian, John Bush, Frank Bello et le batteur Charlie Benante), Anthrax revient en 1998 avec l’album The Threat Is Real, Vol 8 . Suivent Stomp 442 (2001) et We’ve Come for You All (2003).
